LONDON - YOGA FOR MUSICIANS

With the kind support from Paxman Musical Instruments Ltd, the Sweden-based musician and yoga teacher Lene Skomedal (Yoga Lene) will visit London again! 

She will be at the British Horn Society Festival and also give two YOGA FOR MUSICIANS workshops at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. And for all other London-based musicians and music students, you are welcome to this open workshop! 

Yoga Lene combines her two passions to create special yoga sessions to make life better for musicians around the world. She gives workshops for professional orchestras, at music academies, festivals and courses - often combined with her hornplaying.

Get the tools you need to feel free and strong in both body and mind so you can enjoy your playing more and just BREATHE MUSIC!

In the "SWEET SHOULDERS AND RESTITUTION" workshop you will learn easy yoga tools to make your shoulders happy and healthy and also how you can recover faster. We will work thru the whole body, but with extra focus on the upper back and shoulders. We use yoga sequences to get grounded and get the blood flowing (con moto!) - to recover faster! You will also learn some very useful breathing exercises, and we end the workshop with several wonderful relaxing positions that you can use to land down after evening performances or whenever you need. We will do a full workshop with mats, but many of the exercises you will also learn variations that you can use in the practice room, backstage area etc. 

There will be given options for all levels and moods!

The ticket includes a raw snack and freshly made juice from the amazing Benk + Bo Café downstairs - and also some other surprises. There will be chances to WIN (and also buy!) some of the items from the "BREATHE MUSIC" collection!:)
