Teaching all instruments

I love teaching music, and with my history and also knowledge about breathing and yoga I can proudly say that I do teach lessons and masterclasses in a unique way. I blend in yoga exercises, breathing exercises, mental training and connect all this directly to the music and playing. I have teached all different instruments in masterclasses and lessons, and also conductors and singers, all from young kids to world stars.

As a professional musician through many years, I know the difference and challenges with the different instruments, position in the ensemble, type of ensemble and how this affects the body and mind and I use all of my knowledge combined and customize every session for each unique musician.

I started teaching when I was 12 years old, and then I was teaching younger students in my brass band. During my years in Norway I teached individual and group lessons in several school bands and I had the job as horn teacher at Oslo Music School even before I had started my music studies, and I have been teaching at many of the popular summer music schools of Norges Musikkorps Forbund.

The last years I have been teaching music and masterclasses at Colburn School in Los Angeles, Music Academiy in Gdansk, Music Academy in Rostock, Music Academy Santiago, Norwegian Academy of Music and I have many upcoming masterclasses in the planning for next year.
